1Communication and project planning
Before any work begins, both parties must clearly communicate and agree on the project's requirements, scope, features, pricing, estimated delivery timeline, and other important details.
I will make reasonable efforts to understand your requirements before development starts. Changes to the agreed scope may result in additional charges or an updated delivery timeline.
2Upfront payment
An agreed upfront payment or deposit is required before work begins.
The upfront payment confirms your commitment to the project and allows development to officially begin.
For larger projects, a 50% upfront payment may be required, with the remaining balance due according to the agreed payment schedule.
No development work is guaranteed to begin until the required upfront payment has been received.
3Remaining payment
Any outstanding balance must be paid according to the agreed payment terms.
Final files, source code, deployment, credentials, or other deliverables may be withheld until the outstanding balance has been fully paid.
No additional work, new features, or new projects will be started while any payment for previous work remains outstanding.
4Delayed or unfinished payments
If a client fails to complete an agreed payment, the project may be paused or suspended until payment is received.
If payment remains outstanding for an extended period, I reserve the right to:
- Suspend further development.
- Withhold unfinished or final deliverables.
- Restrict access to project-related services where applicable.
- Cancel the project.
- Revoke or remove temporary access, hosting, or services provided by me.
- Pursue reasonable measures to recover an outstanding payment.
Any work already completed does not become free simply because the project is cancelled or abandoned.
5Client delays
If I am waiting for required information, content, credentials, feedback, approvals, or other materials from the client, the delivery timeline may be extended.
A project may also be considered inactive if the client becomes unresponsive for an extended period.
6Revisions and changes
Reasonable revisions related to the original agreed requirements may be included depending on the service purchased.
Requests that significantly change the original project scope may require an additional payment.
7Cancellation
If a client cancels a project after development has started, payment for work already completed may still be due.
Upfront payments may be non-refundable where development, design, planning, or other project work has already commenced.
8Ownership and delivery
Ownership or transfer of the final project, source code, design files, or other deliverables will be handled according to the payment and project agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed, full ownership of the final deliverables will only be transferred after all outstanding payments have been settled.
9Third-party services
The client is responsible for the cost of third-party services where applicable, including hosting, domains, APIs, premium software, payment processors, or other external services.
Third-party outages, policy changes, or service limitations are outside my direct control.
10Agreement
By proceeding with a project, making a payment, or requesting work after these terms have been provided, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
These terms may be updated when necessary. Any significant updates will be communicated through the website or other appropriate communication channels.
